In the 2022 movie Wifelike, director James Bird, in my opinion, processed the facts through artificiality. For the first time, I watched a movie about artificial intelligence for the first time without being scared of artificial intelligence.
Because the realities portrayed in the movie are scarier than artificial intelligence! It is a good example of how obsessive love and attachment to someone can turn the opposite life into a nightmare, but as I said, the fact that it is based on artificial intelligence makes it more fictional than real.
It was exciting to watch Elena Kampouris as Meredith, with her robotic look and the courage to showcase her body. Her robotic look can attract even someone (me) who is cold to artificial intelligence.
It was strange to watch Jonathan Rhys Meyers as William, the detective who catches women who are obsessive lovers and runaways. Compared to actors in many movies where obsession is portrayed, his obsession and selfish attitude reflected on his face stood out.
Maybe he really did his role very well or maybe he is really obsessed; we can only know who is who at the core as much as he reflects.
