How to prepare YAM BALLS

Ingredient

  • Yam (Small Size)

  • Vegetable oil

  • Fresh Pepper (as desired)

  • Raw Eggs (4pieces)

  • Salt

  • Seasoning (optional)

  • Onions

  • Flour (optional to make it sticky)

Procedure

  1. Peel the yam, wash & cut into small size

  2. Put it in a boil with a little salt and boil it, till soft

  3. Drain it & mash it in a bowl

  4. In another bowl, break the eggs and add the Chopped pepper and onions into it

  5. Add salt and seasoning to taste and stir well

  6. Add in your mashed yam into the mixture and mix it well

  7. Mold the mixture into smaller balls

  8. Heat your oil and fry till golden brown

Your yam balls are now ready, could be garnish with mint leaves or any leaf of your choice as desired & could be served with Tea, coffee, or any drink of your choice.
