Hello guys, let me take through my kitchen on how to cook Bitter leaf soup.
Ingredients
Washed Bitterleaf
Palm oil
Thickener
Ground crayfish
Assorted meat of choice
Cowskin/Pkomo (optional )
Dry fish/roasted fish (optional)
Stockfish
Salt and Pepper to taste (red fresh pepper)
Seasoning
Onions (optional)
Procedure
Wash your meat and stockfish set it aside, also wash your dried fish and set aside.
Put your meat and stockfish on fire add seasoning & salt, bring it to boiling until it's soft and tender
Add in your dried fish and allow to cook for 5mins
Add in your pepper and palm oil, bring it to boiling
Add in your thickener & stir till it dissolves well
Add in your already washed Bitterleaf & stir
Add little quantity of water and allow to boil for 3-5mins
Add in your grounded crayfish
Stir all together, cover the pot, and steam for 1mins.
Your Bitterleaf Soup is now ready and can be served with semo, fufu, eba, pounded yam or any Swallow of your choice.
