For 2-3 serves
Ingredients :
150-200 g. Morning glory (cut stems and
then cut into 2”-3”)
3-5 cloves Garlic
2-4 pcs. Thai fresh chilies (optional)
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tbsp Fermented soy bean paste or
Tao Jeaw
Instructions :
Smash and chop or pound the garlic with chilies in
a mortar. Set aside.Bring a pan to the heat, set at medium to high
temperature. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil into the pan.
Then, add the garlic & chilies. Stir until the garlic
turns brown.Next, add the morning glory and stir quickly for
10-15 seconds then, lower the heat and add soy
sauce, oyster sauce, fermented soybean paste
and sugar. After that, turn the heat up and stir
quickly again until the vegetable is cooked. (Be
careful, do not overcook it ! )Lastly, splash a little bit of water, stir for few
seconds and turn off the stove. Serve on a plate.
(You can sprinkle some ground pepper on top is
you like.
📝 Tip : If you have a wok with gas, you can prepare a bowl and add all ingredients into it with 2-3 tbsp of water. Start cooking by setting at high temperature, add a little bit of oil into the wok. When the wok is hot, place the ingredients in the bowl into the wok and stir quickly until the morning glory is cooked. Then, turn off the stove and serve the food on a plate.
