Another popular dish at my current place of work. The sweet and sour sauce is simple but tasty. Hope you guys will like it and DON'T ORDER IT FROM TAKEAWAY OR RESTAURANT ANYMORE 🤣🤣🤣
Ingredients:
Pork tenderloin: 300g
Salt: 1g
White Pepper: 0.5g
Half egg
Corn Flour: 25g
Onion: 20g
Green Pepper: 20g
Yellow Pepper: 20g
Red Pepper: 20g
Pineapple: 80g
Potato Starch: enough to wrap the meat
Oil: 1tbsp
Sesame Oil: 5ml
For sweet and sour sauce:
Ketchup: 80g
Plum Sauce: 30g
Sugar: 30g
Vinegar: 30g
Water: 30g
Method:
- Chop the pork into 2cm size pieces
- Marinate with salt, white pepper and half egg, corn flour and mix evenly
- Prepare onions, green, yellow, red peppers and pineapples
- Prepare and mix the sweet and sour sauce
- Wrap the pork with potato starch
- Prepare a pot of hot oil at 160 degrees. Fry the pork for a total of 3 ½ mins.
- Reheat the oil to 200 degrees and re-fry the pork for a further 30 seconds
- Warm up a pan and add 1tbsp oil. Stir fry the onions and peppers, then add the pineapples and sweet and sour sauce. Let the sauce boil, add pork and stir fry evenly. Add sesame oil.
- Serve the pork and enjoy.
