It's great to see patios get into the spirit. Could be one of the benefits of Covid. Right now it is patio only and take out. If things get worse that could change. For now I like to see this adaption. It feels a sort of freeing sensation where the vibe is moved outside. I always say make the best out of a bad situation.
This place is made from love, not the motivation of money! I know, I talked to owner and known them since opening having done aesthetic reconstruction via drywall mud application techniques. The ceiling is actually done with concrete seal to level the humps. Could have made it smooth and look like glass, however I like the texture of it, painted black so not as noticeable too.
They were some of the ones that wanted to defy and stay open. I'm glad they settled down and went for the patio trend. The whole smaller town here has many patios now! The local provincial government made it so the construction of patios is covered...I think. So people are having at it. I know myself how to get out of the conspiracy and still know the struggle of what they go through. Sometimes we can all come down and be reasonable I think.
Yea I had to drop most social media and not talk to many locals for awhile. That's why being able to come back to this pub an have chats with some regulars, staff etc. was great. I felt people came down more, what's more of a threat than covid or conspiracy is losing your character over it. If anything you want to enhance it, perhaps change it, yet how can you change what is at your core? When people say crazy exaggerated stuff in a huff I know they are not serious. I know that from myself at times too. I never actually believe any so called negative stuff I say to myself, I know it's a character and play reaction, to know as if the shoe fits.
That made the tacos and house salsa so good too. I have a short video clip!! I have the food there, then reach over to pick up the nappy from the floor as it's windy out there
