We grew some pumpkins this year and were successful!! I'm so glad. I remember when I used to grow pumpkins as a kid! It was the first thing I learned how to grow. They are a bit difficult in this colder climate in Alberta Canada. A couple of them got kinda big plus a few smaller ones!
The pumpkin pies turned out real good! Even has some of the skin in them! Don't worry they are soft. Better home made for sure. We put in less sugar so they are not as sweet. I had some last night while I was playing video games. We got about 6 pies out of it.
I look forward to growing more next year! As well as baking more. Homemade pumpkin pie is ace!!
