Been having to make food more at home lately. I suggested some spicy wraps. We had Chicken the one night and beef the other. We have it with rice and beans. Got a special mango hot salsa to go with it! We also serve it with some sour cream. We had extra wraps and beans so we made some a few times.
They are fairly easy to make. I remember my friend in high school showed me how to add the spice to them. He suggested put chilli powder and cumin. Recently we got a variety of special spices at a specialty spice store. The red pepper corns were especially good! I also got a couple different kinds of chilli powder which I also added to a recent chilli. It came out perfect. Easy to eat, spicy and not too heavy. We even had whole cumin from the spice store too! which we also crushed into the spice mix along with the red peppercorns.
I'm so glad to be making this post right now! I had a total meltdown online on social media. I couldn't take all the paranoid conspiracies any more so when I spazz out I mirror back all the garbage in my head that I see. Uh oh, maybe it's not good for my reputation, I had to let it out I felt, maybe I don't feel so good after, yet somehow glad I got it out and now know to take a real break. That's where coming back to cooking with the cast iron frying pan brings me back out of the panic. There's allot of trolling bullying and fear going on online as well as community. Pays to step back, take it all in, sure, remember to exhale. The toxic acts seem to be aimed to distract one from equilibrium.
