My second attempt on the Lychee Martini cake. I followed the recipe from Lady Loves To Bake... my wife was surprised by my interest and wondered loudly whether it was the booze or the cakeš¤£
Prior to this, appreciation of cake was more aesthetic and taste. Now when you do it yourself, you appreciate the hard work and efforts behind each cake. You appreciate the many trials the bakers have to go through just to reach where they are... hats off to them.
