600grams pork belly
A dash of pepper
1 tablespoons of honey
2 teaspoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon of red yeast rice powder(can omit if don’t have cause it’s just for coloring only)
1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
Little amount of cooking oil
1 tablespoons of shaoxing wine
Pork belly wash and soaked water about 20minutes , drain or wipe dry
Marinated with all the seasoning at least 4hours or overnight.
Heat up the wok pour in cooking oil and add in pork belly , marinate sauce and some water close the lid cook for 20minutes . Check after 10 minutes meanwhile add in a tablespoon of shaoxing wine and continue cook for remaining time .
After 20minutes take out all the pork belly first , take out the sauce for dipping later . Pour back the oil into the wok and to sear caramelize the pork belly . Happy cooking 😉
