There are so many kinds of Biriyani in our country and they're Chiken Biriyani, Beef Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani, Kacchi Biriyani. Kacchi biriyani is so famous but I haven't tried to make that yet. Maybe I'll try that someday and show you how I do it. But I made Chicken Biriyani this time and I'm going to talk about how I did it.
Ingredients:.
- Chicken
- Rice (we call it Polar Rice)
- Almonds paste
- Onion
- Peas Bean
- Green Pepper
- Ginger and Garlic paste
- Salt
- Chili Poweder
- Bay Leaves
- Cumin Powder
- Cinnamon

Chicken | I took some nice chicken pieces and it is advised to wash the chicken very carefully so that there doesn't remain any blood. |
Almonds Paste | I chose some nice almonds and then I used the blender machine to paste. Almonds paste makes the food tastier. |
Onion | You need 2/3 onions and chop them into small pieces. |
Peas Bean | This peas bean makes the food more tasty and looks good. I used some peas bean in the rice. |
Green Pepper | I used some green pepper also. Green pepper gives the food a special smell and I like that smell. |
Ginger and Garlic paste | Ginger and Garlic paste are a must thing to use in such dishes otherwise you will not like the taste I can tell that from my experience. |
Cooking Procedure:
At first, I've put some oil on the cooker and made it hot. Then I gave the onion pieces in the hot oil.
I've waited for sometime until the onions get a little red color.
This is the color that I was waiting for. Or I could do the next process a bit earlier as well. I just had to be sure that the onion pieces were not burned.
Then I left the chicken pieces with the onion in the hot oil. And then I left ginger & garlic paste, chili powder, bay leaves, cumin powder, peas, cinnamon bean and then
I added the almonds paste and mixed them properly and fried them for sometime.
I had to wait for sometime until it got cooked properly.
Then
I got this look of the chicken and it was all for the chicken part. Now I had to work on the rice as well.
Again I've used bay leaves, cinnamon and on hot oil, I fried and boiled the rice for sometime. When it was ready, I've mixed the entire chicken with this rice. And this mixing is the one for what we call it Biriyani otherwise we might call it Chicken Polaw if it was separated.
The Chicken Biriyani is ready to taste at this time and it was nice and tasty.
