This year, February 2nd is Setsubun (annual festival in Japan, marking the beginning of the Spring in lunar calendar, celebrated on the last day of winter). I made traditional Ehomaki sushi rolls (Fortune Roll) with 7 ingredients in sync with the 7 Gods of fortune in Japan. 7 ingredients I used are sea eel, egg omelette, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, cucumber and lotus root. This is eaten facing the direction of good luck of this year which is South-South-East. Wishes for good fortune and good health for everyone🙏 Happy Setsubun!.
