The Acehnese noodle in Leupung, Aceh Besar has been famous for a long time. Even though the location is far from Banda Aceh City, Acehnese noodle in Leupung is much hunted and always crowded with visitors in almost every day.
A few weeks ago, my family and I also visited this Aceh noodle shop. The location is quite from Banda Aceh, capital city of Aceh. But the trip there was very exciting.
The road condition to the west coast of Aceh is very smooth and beautiful sceneries are presented on the left and right sides of the road. On the right, is the coast of the Indian Ocean. On the left are mountains. Then, we could also find rivers with crystal clear water. So, even though it's quite far, we still might enjoying the natural beauty there.
Upon arriving at Leupung noodle, we immediately took a parking position. That afternoon, this shop was not that crowded. There werre still many empty tables available.
I would like to order crab or shrimp noodles. But unfortunately, the two mainstay menus are not available. The reason is because of the storm in the last few days, so fishermen didn’t go to the sea.
Finally, we ordered noodles with beef. Because beef is the only one available. It's okay, the beef must be delicious as well when cooked with noodle.
Our seat was in front. Not long after, a special Aceh noodle dish with thick spices arrived on our table.
The weather that afternoon was quite cool. The wind blows incessantly. On the other side of the road, on the hill there were green trees. It was very refreshing to the eyes.
It is true, the taste of Aceh Leupung noodles is very delicious and tasty. We really deserve to recommend it to guests who visiting Aceh, especially Indonesian culinary connoisseurs.
