This is another one of my food preparation edition. Let me take on a low slide trip. This is egusi soup made with vegetable leaves with some other varieties of recipes. Its simple to make and won't take your time that much.It's been long I ate this kind of meal, I think before my Mum(RIP) died I think. So I feel it best and the right time to prepare this kind of soup for my meal.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS AND RECIPES NEEDED?
- GRINDED MELON
VEGETABLE LEAVES
RED OIL
LOCUS BEANS
- SMOKED FISH
- MAGGIE AND SALT
PROCESS
- Your preparatory method must be in order, what is the first thing you do? Prepare your vegetable first by cutting the vegetables leaves into shreds, wash it, sieve it and put it aside.
- After that then you go to the cooking steps. Put your clean pot on the cooking device is used gas cooker though. Then pour your red oil.
- After the pot has heat up to some certain degree, then you pour your already watered grinded melon and add some other recipes like locus,smoked fish,small salt and maggie and leave for a while for it to steam together.
- After it has steamed together, please be endeavour to add your already washed and prepared vegetable leaves gentle.
- You can whisk gently. Let me tell you the reason why you have to do it gently, it's just not to allow the soup get burnt or stick to the pot. Just leave it for some minutes and your vegetable soup is done.
Note that this soup can go for almost varieties of food like rice, semovita, kamala, pounded yam etc but eating mine with semovita.
