In which a special kind of sweet betel leaf is made with more than twenty spices. Its fame has spread to several nearby towns. The person who made this sweet betel leaf is Mangal Dada. Betel leaf
is related to our culture. When we arrange social, cultural and festival programme, we served betel leaf after eating.

Hundreds of people come to eat sweet betel leaf every day from evening till late at night. Sometimes people have to stand in long lines to get a betel leaf. Many people stand in line and carry this special betel leaf for family members. This special betel leaf is made with about twenty kinds of spices.

Some of the notable spices are honey, raisins, chickpeas, almonds, jelly, Pozzy sweets, carrots, nuts, coconuts, apples, pomegranates, cinnamon, cardamom etc. Mangal Dada uses some of his own spices to enhance the taste of the betel leaf.

Mangal Dada prepared 36 drinks together on one plate. And in just two minutes, buyers buy and finish all the betel leaf. Many from far and wide come here on motorcycles, cars, bicycles and many on foot for the sole purpose of drinking. Many locals entertain the guests with this betel leaf.

The price of each betel leaf made from a combination of different spices is only 10 taka in Bangladeshi peice. This betel leaf is as interesting to watch as it is taste to eat. It has a combination of spices as well as flavors. That is why the number of betel leaf buyers are increasing day by day.
