Ingredients: Polau rice, ghee, bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, garlic, milk, green chillies, salt.

Method: First mix 2 teaspoons of oil and 2 teaspoons of ghee. Now put oil and ghee in a pot. Oil and ghee should be given in equal quantity. Heat them on medium heat. When the oil is hot, add one cup of onion paste and hot spices. As a hot spice, you can add 2 bay leaves, 1 piece of cinnamon, 4-5 whole cardamoms (break the cinnamon and it will have better flavor).

Then add one and a half tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of almond paste as spices. You can use either wood nut or china nut by pasting one.

Now you can give a spoonful of coconut paste (it will make the flavor better). You don't have to fry the spices too much. When the onion is soft, add water.

Here you have to give double water to the rice. If you take 2 cups of rice, give 3 and a half cups of water. With half a cup can give the amount of milk. When liquid milk is given, give 1/4 cup amount of powdered milk (test will be better if powdered milk is given). Then wait until the bulk comes. Balak will actually serve with polau rice. Rice should be washed and drained beforehand. Now add 4-5 whole green chillies and salt to taste. Shake well with salt and mix.

At this stage you can check the salt, if the taste of salt in the water is high, then you will understand that the salt in Polaway will be just like that. Then keep the polau covered till the water. Half a cup of carrot seeds, 2 tablespoons of chickpeas and 4–5 prunes
