Recipe of Dry fish with Vegetable

Cooking is one of my hobbies. Different Bengali recipes I would like to share in my blog one after one. Many of foreign people may not familiar with Bengali recipe. That's why I should share Bangladeshi recipe to the world community so that anyone can learn about it.

Chittagong is the second largest city of Bangladesh and here you can find a lot of dry fish because it is very much close to sea. So here, the fish which is picked from the sea is converted into dry fish with the help of Sunlight. So, these dry fishes can be stored and eaten for long time. After drying the fish will not be spoilt. So, this is a technique of storing the features as well. As the price of dry fish is comparatively low so it is the source of protein for the poor families in Bangladesh also.

I am sharing today how to cook vegetables with dry fish and dal. The doubt which we called is boot dal. First of all, the Dal should be fried in a pan. With that the other ingredients like vegetables along with some ingredients like Chili salt turmeric powder onion and garlic have to be mixed in another pan. After about 5-6 minutes when the vegetable will soften, then we need to add the Dal which was fried in to the vegetable. Then we are to cook for 10 minutes after putting some water on it. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to soften all those things so that it can be tested very softly. And finally, just before the 5 minutes of cooking we need to add the dry fish which is already cat it into suitable slices. As you can see in the picture, I have put the slices of dry fish. After the all done within next five to six minutes you will be ready to eat.

So, this is very simple recipe but most important recipe for Bangladeshi people. So, with this recipe anyone can have a better lunch or dinner with rice. Several ingredients like dal vegetables and the source of protein that is dry fish is added it should be very much notorious as well. So, anyone can have the taste of this dry fish with vegetable by following the rules for cooking recipe which I have shared. Thank you very much for reading my post.
