Khichuri.
It's the mixture of rice and dal. And the most common and simple famous meal here in Bangladesh. This is famous among all classes of people and there is some reason behind this. First of all, it's easy to make and it can be cooked at very cheap price with only rice and dal.
Many ingredients like chicken egg beef can be added with it to increase the taste and nutrients value but the simplest form is only rice and dal. Today what I am sharing is the simple khichuri which is very easy to cook and a minimum time is required for cooking. So those who are busy enough can try this meal.
Here you can see first of all I have just watched the dal. Then in a pot I have cooked rice and, in that time, I have mixed The Dal, some ingredients like Chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin in powder, salt etc. And very simple and easily the cooking is done after about 20 minutes. The time is taken to soften the dal otherwise it's very easy and simple recipe.
This food can be taken at lunch, for dinner or even at afternoon snacks. This is the simplest form if you would like to add some vegetables or chicken, beef, egg or Mutton you can add. Hat recipe I am not discussing here that recipe is little bit different and I shall share another time.
