Hello, lovers of the kitchen, I hope you all are well, today I bring you a very easy recipe to make the famous Venezuelan rice pudding, I assure you that if you do it… you will suck your fingers! ANIMATE !!!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups washed white rice
3 cups of water
½ teaspoon of salt
1 lemon peel
4 cups of liquid milk
1 can of condensed milk
300 g sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Preparation of rice pudding:
The first thing to do is wash the rice until the water that we are going to drain is absolutely transparent.
Then we are going to incorporate, in a deep pot, the water, the salt, the lemon peel and the previously washed rice.
We are going to cook this over medium heat for a few minutes until the water has almost been consumed.
In a separate pot we are going to heat the milk, the condensed milk, the sugar and the cinnamon stick, until boiling.
We must remove the lemon peel and add the hot milk to the rice, which will continue cooking between 15 and 20 minutes or until our rice is completely cooked.
If for any reason it is necessary, we must add more milk to prevent the rice from drying out or sticking.
At the end we serve it hot or cold sprinkled with cinnamon.
My hand went a bit with the cinnamon, because the bag broke (haha) but it was still delicious.
