Cake is one of the favorite food of the people of Bangladesh. Different types of seasonal cakes are arranged in every house of the Bengalis. Different colors and different types of delicious cakes are made. However, in terms of seasonality, most cakes are made in winter. In fact, winter is a good time to make or eat a cake.
However, apart from winter, different types of cakes are made at different times of the year. For example, at present it is rainy season and now it is Bhadra month in Bengali calendar. And during this time, palm have started ripening and those ripe palms are being sold in the market. That is why the festival of making pitha with rhythm has started in every house of Bengal. This cake is made by combining palm juice, flour, sugar, banana, coconut.
A few days ago our family made palm cake. It is a cake that is very tasty to eat. Because the combination of different items makes the cake much tastier. This is one of my favorite cakes. All members of our family love to eat this cake. So a few days ago my father bought a lot of palms from the market and our mother bought two palms from the house next to ours. Then she made a cake out of the palm juice. But that day I missed the whole process i.e. how to make this cake. Hopefully after a while when my mother makes palm cake at home again, I will be able to learn the whole process and be able to do photography and share it with you.
