Many of may you many know that one of my many Hive hats is serving as an Admin for NaturalMedicine.io, publishing the Plant Power Curation, and managing the new @LotusShares Plant Power Weekly Cooking Challenge.

In this role I get to discover the best #PlantBased recipes and related posts. After months of curating the finest vegan fare, five particular chefs stand out in my culinary mind, and I would like to share them with you and and show you why should follow them.

Even if you aren't a vegan yourself, think there is still plenty of culinary inspiration to be found within these chef's recipes posts.

Chef of the Great North

This Canadian chef doesn't let her latitude stop her from making spicy and delicious dishes bursting with flavor. Don't put this chef in a box; she can make a mean Thai curry just as well as she can whip up a mean vegan Caesar salad.
She spends her days working in a restaurant, but somehow still finds time and inspiration to share her after hours culinary adventures with us, and for that I am grateful. Take a look below and you will see just a small example of what she literally brings to the table.

Atlanta's Fittest Chef

Moving south and into collard greens country, chefery is just one of many skills this personal trainer possesses. That's right, this chef is a fitness guru, and although health is a priority for her, she's been to known to share some some slightly sinful edible treats with us too.
She loves working with seasonal fruits and vegetables, and has access to a wide variety of ingredients due to Atlanta's multi-cultural makeup. Whether making Mediterranean dishes or soul-food reimagined, she never ceases to amaze me with her creativity in the kitchen. Read one of her recipes and you're likely to find a surprise short uplifting story too.

Master Balkan Baker

This chef is still a bit of a mystery to me, but her talent in the kitchen is very obvious. I'm not actually sure if she is of Balkan heritage, but she shares lots of recipes from this area, and she loves to bake all kinds of beautiful things.
Although this chef doesn't stick to one type of cuisine, her Mediterranean, Balkan and eastern European foods are the most tempting. If you want to work with flour, you're sure to find plenty of ideas from this chef's recipe posts.

Inspiring Indonesian Chef

Sometimes I am not sure if I would rather eat this chef's dishes or mount them on the wall and enjoy them as art. She enjoys photography and plating just as much as cooking, and you can easily see that in her posts, which are full of vibrant colors.
If you want to learn how to use tempeh in more creative ways, this is the chef to follow. That's not all though, you're just as likely to see appealing recipes for desserts, snacks, smoothies, and more. Just look at all the amazing colors below!!

Can-Do Cambodian Chef

This chef is my wife, so I get to enjoy every one of her creations in real life. We are actually both chefs, and used to have an Ital restaurant in Cambodia, where we combined Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Caribbean flavors in the form of a daily thali.
Khmer and Thai cuisine reimagined in Ital versions are her specialty, but she is very good with Indonesian, Chinese, and some Burmese dishes too. Give her a coconut and a sharp knife and let the magic happen. Sour, salty, sweet, spicy, and savory can all exist in one dish, and this chef knows exactly how to pull it off in so many ways that it's mind boggling.
