Davangere Butter Dosa

This special dosa is from the city of Davangere city in Karnataka. It is special because they use a ton of butter on the dosa and that makes it crispy, juicy, and thick. I have loved Benne dosa ever since my brother introduced it to me about a decade back I think.

The chutney that I had with the Benne dosa was like the one of the best I ever had. I am some sort of Chutney lover and have been always trying to find the best ones ever made!

In my opinion, the best chutney that I have ever had is the one that my Mom makes it but then she's my Mom and I can't be completely honest. But she makes the best chutney.

Last year my team and I were around the only place that makes these crispy Davangere Benne Dosa in my city. So, we headed to the restaurant and we had our fill.
