Pumpkin is a winter vegetable and very common in our area. Mostly people use pumpkin in their daily meal. It can be cooked as savory and also very common to cook some really amazing sweet dishes. So today I am sharing one such recipe which is very famous in Asia. This sweet dish is Pumpkin Halwa.
Following Ingredients are used in this recipe.
Peel pumpkin and cut into small pieces and cook it without water for 30 minutes.
Now take clarified butter in a pan add cardamoms and pumpkin puree in it and cook it for 15 minutes.
Add milk, sugar and whole dried milk (Khoya) and cook it till it dries.
Add raisins and almonds in it and cook it for 15 minutes till clarified butter separates from puree.
