If I am to choose among the many comfort food ~ I would say ice cream!
My craving for simple ice cream led me to The Flourist, if you're wondering about the name. They actually specialize in Waffles and they also make their own ice cream. Since I already had a full dinner, what better way to seal the deal than a creamy dessert?
We for me, ice cream always work for me. So let me give you a quick tour around the humble The Flourist. First of all, the cozy feeling while inside the compact & crowded place is just fine for me. This is the kind of vibe that I like while eating my ice cream.

So for my ice cream, I had my favorite ~ Tiramisu! Well, what I can say is that I like the perfect balance of creamy texture and the subtle coffee flavor to it. There is also a hint of rum to it, although in a very subtle tone I think it's just fine so it won't overpower the ice cream itself.
I just wish that I had it with a waffle, I guess that would be for my next visit.
