Aside from shopping items, Chinatown is also a place known for mouthwatering local food that is affordable and delicious as well.
One of the best places to experience local food is Chinatown's Foodstreet, which is open dining where the majority of the local food is being served. There are also restaurants that are surrounding the open dining area. Let me show you a grand picture of this place.
A good option for lunch is a generous serving of Fried Kway Teow Mee! A stir-fried noodles, usually made of flattened noodles and a mix of egg noodles.
What I like the most about the Fried Kway Teow mee is the charred flavor of this dish. It's also savory and a hint of sweetness to it. The dish has a lot of goodness to it, these are Chinese sausage which is a bit sweet but very tasty, bean sprout that has a crunchy texture, and cockles which I wish to have more.
The binding ingredient for this dish is the egg that was added to it.
This place has so much to offer, I will definitely go back to this place to try the other local dishes or any seafood dishes that are being presented.
