How to make Thai Coconut Milk Custard (Kanom Tuay).

Another Thai dessert which in this is traditionally served in a small bowl. There are two layers – top and bottom layer which come together to create a delicious sweet and salty flavour. It is easy to make it with few ingredients. ☺️

Bottom layer

  • 60 g. rice flour
  • 1 Tbsp. tapioca starch
  • 125 g. palm sugar
  • 240 g. dilute coconut milk or water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 75g. Taro (option)
    Top layer
  • 380 g. coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp rice flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. salt
