Potato dumplings , pierogi

Dough
2.5 cups flour
1 cup water
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon oil( vegetable)

Fried onion
Two onions chopped
1/4 cup oil( vegetable)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Fry till golden brown
And set aside for filling

Fry one more onion for topping of boiled pierogi

Potato filling
5 medium potatoes boiled
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Mash really well and add the onions fir the filling

Roll out your dough to desired thickness cut out circles fill with a teaspoon of potato filling and close as half moons.

Boil like 6 to 8 cups water
Add salt and two tablespoons oil
When boiling add 6 dumplings at a time, when they rise up let boil another two minutes remove onto clean plate
Put fried onions on top and serve with sour cream
