How to Cook Walnut cake layers?

(Makes one 6 inch or two 4 inch round mini cakes)

1 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1.5 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
One stick butter
3/4 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Beat butter and sugar till fluffy and very light in color
Add eggs and applesauce. Sift dry ingredients and add to the eggs, beat really well.
I used a half sheet pan
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes
Check the cake by inserting a toothpick and it comes out clean.

Cream for filling and decorating

1 8 ounce cream cheese
1 stick of butter
2 cups powdered sugar
One cup condensed milk
2 or 3 tablespoons Rum
Make sure all ingredients are room temperature

Beat cream cheese and butter till creamy and well incorporated add rum, powdered sugar and then slowly add condensed milk.
Separate the cream into two portions Let one portion chill for at least an hour.
The other portion

You mix well with cooled melted milk chocolate
Let chill.
