Hi friends,
I've been out visiting friends all day and I came back home late so I didn't have the time to prepare any elaborate dinner because my old man has to eat dinner by 6pm so I quickly went out to get okro from our small garden. (To be sincere guys, it's a wonderful feeling to have a garden that caters to your urgent needs. Saves you from embarrassment and relieved you from undue stress).
There are a lot of health benefits to eating okro avoiding to research, some of which includes:
- Okro is great for digestion because of the high fibre content
- It's calorie level is very low
- The pectin in okro helps in controlling cholesterol level... This among others are some of the help benefit derived from eating okro. So I made this emergency okro soup and stew with goat meat and paired it with wheatmeal swallow.
