I’m half Korean. My mother is Korean and my brother and I recently reunited with her after 32 years of being apart. We also gained 5 half siblings that we didn’t know we had. I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible it all has been. Being able to visit my family for a week and being submerged in my culture after all these years, it’s an understatement to say it makes my heart so full. It has inspired me even more to continue creating and working on cooking food from my heritage. So I leave you with this. My first try at a ground beef bulgogi bibimbop bowl. It was really yummy. I think my mom would be proud 😃🥰
