The COVID-19 infection is spreading again. On the other hand, measures against the spread of infection in restaurants have been refined.
We visited our favorite buffet restaurant. The process of temperature measurement at the entrance, disinfection of fingers, and explanation and approval of precautions from staff was the same as before. However, there have been changes in measures to spread infection.
First, a large air purifier was set in the store. To enter the buffet area, wear a mask and disinfect your fingers with an automatic disinfectant each time. The use of disposable plastic gloves seems to have been abolished.
The air purifier was blowing on the buffet table just where the food was displayed. A transparent sheet was installed at the height of the human face so that food could not be breathed even through a mask. With such ingenuity, customers can feel at ease.
Even if vaccination begins, the spread of the infection will continue for some time. However, I hope that such a device will keep the restaurant open.
