Curry is Indian food. However, like ramen, it has evolved independently in Japan. Japanese-style curry with a mild taste is famous as one of the Japanese cultures.

That day we were driving on the highway. Time passed 8 pm and we missed the opportunity to dine at the restaurant. Due to the pandemic, restaurants are currently closed in Tokyo after 8 pm.
The exception for restaurants is take-out. Some restaurants are open only for take-out.
Coco-ichi near my apartment was open. There were several people in front of the take-out window. Coco-ichi is a famous Japanese-style curry shop. In 2020, it surprisingly opened a store in India, the home of curry.
We ordered basic curry and croquettes, as well as low-carb curry. It was about $ 14 in total.
In the "low-carb curry" in the foreground of the photo, cauliflower cut into granules and heated is a substitute for white rice. If you don't say it, you may not know it as cauliflower.
Despite being a famous restaurant, I ate Coco-ichi curry for the first time. There are a lot of extra toppings, and I've heard that customers increase their profit margins by increasing toppings, and I understand why. The curry itself has a simple taste, so customers will not get bored.
