Cyberattackers are fine-tuning their increasingly sophisticated strategies to steal crucial information day by day in the digital era, with breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and cryptocurrency, putting everyone on high alert. The assaults are aimed against a variety of targets, ranging from larger targets such as governments and corporations to smaller targets such as ordinary citizens. All with the intention of obtaining knowledge that will benefit them.
Because anyone can be the target of such attacks, the main goal of this essay is to communicate and provide some keys to secure our information. There has been a lot of coverage recently regarding this form of attack, and anyone can be a victim of it.
What should we do to protect ourselves against cyber-attacks?
It's best not to use public Wi-Fi to access pages containing your assets, such as wallets and bank accounts, because we're an easy target for hackers.
Install a well-known and up-to-date antivirus program to safeguard your computer or mobile device from harmful infections.
Memorize or copy the pages containing your assets, and double-check the URL for anything unusual, such as an addition of a symbol or letter from the official page.
Do not store passwords in emails on the network because if someone gains access, they will have access to all of your passwords.
