I have been inspired by these posts to start a small crypto savings using Blurt. I have started with LTC but will spread out as you have done. What is thebest hive specific token on hive engine you would recommend? I usually stick to the top twenty coins but the hive tokens are a mystery to me

We are happy to inspire you with our idea. There are many tokens on Hive that you can buy and I am not well versed with all the tokens so we will only talk about the ones that we have bought and read about them.
The best Hive Engine token is the one that gives you a passive income.
