Blood donation is an important, noble and socially conscious activity. Ir can save a life or a limb and is required on a daily basis in major cities. Many people do this and can be compared to heroic deeds. It is a way to give back something to the society in which we live and receive so many benefits. I have donated blood on occasions like Republic Day and Independence Day. There are many Blood camps where people xan join and do this and some film stars encourage their fans to donate blood which plays an important role for the weak and poor people. India id in need of blood and sometimes there are appeals for it in the social media. We must take notice and do our good on such occasions.
