My greetings to everyone, how are we doing.
Today I am going to talk about EXERCISE.
Exercise is a physical activity and movement done by living organisms to increase the heart rate beyond resting levels. It helps in preserving physical and mental health living organisms. Example Humans.
Whether people engage in light exercise such as going for a walk, or high intensive exercise like uphill cycling, weight training, regular exercise provides a huge range of benefits for the body and mind.
There are different types of exercises and their personal health benefits
Types and benefits
aerobic
anaerobic
yoga
Aerobic exercise
Aerobic exercise aims to improve how the body uses oxygen. Some aerobic exercise are usually placed at the average levels of intensity and takes long period of time.
Aerobic exercise involves warm ups, exercising for longer time and then cools down the body. This; improves muscle strength in the lungs, heart, and whole body and low blood pressure and also improves circulation and blood flow in the muscles etc.
Anaerobic exercise
Anaerobic exercise does not use oxygen for energy like aerobic exercise. People use anaerobic exercises gor body building, (strength, and muscle mass.)
These exercises are high-intensity activities that should last for long period. Anaerobic exercises include:
weightlifting
sprinting etc.
The anaerobic exercise do not give much health benefits like aerobic exercise. Because it is all about body building, muscles, improving more strength.
Yoga
Yoga movements improve balance, flexibility, posture, and circulation.
Yoga helps to align the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga uses a combination of meditation, posture, and breathing exercises.
A person with arthritis might need gentle stretches to improve mobility and function. Someone with depression, may need more emphasis on the relaxation and deep breathing elements of yoga.
Some other flexibility movement exercises that helps the body are Pilates, Tai chi etc.
Now let me tell you something.
When my mum had pain in her right hand for some few weeks back, she took medication but it didn't work the way she wanted, then she decided to exercise the hand, she did series of exercises for some time, before she knew it, the hand she couldn't bend back, she can now rotate the right hand, all without medicines. All thanks to exercise.
There are some risks for not doing exercise
A lifestyle without exercise can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis and even obesity.
Remember always find time to exercise.
Exercise may be difficult to engage in for some people. If you are that kind of person, consider some of these tips.
