How to care children and family during lock down periods

in blurtbd •  4 years ago

Many citizens are expressing their fears and anxieties due to the sudden move away from the society. This segregation seems to have had a profound effect on young children as well. Parents who have jobs and businesses now have to spend time at home with their children. There are many challenges in this too.

With lock downs across the country, parents are working hard to ensure that their children stay home all day and listen to them. Many children's annual exams have been canceled and the study burden on them has now been removed. However, it is not easy for parents to keep their children busy all day long.

Some important things to keep in mind, both now and in the future.

Influence of social media -

The current lockout period for child care is largely covered by social media, which operates 24 hours a day. WhatsApp is literally bombarded with a variety of messages. These messages provide information on websites and apps that guide children on how to keep their brains bright during the current holidays. Is this information really useful? Maybe it happens or it doesn't!

Discipline -

There should be no compromise on children's meal and meal times, study schedule, daily exercise, their behavior and speech. Children must be disciplined about them. But other things should happen as they please. Strict, oppressive restrictions should not be imposed on children. Something disciplined will happen one day, but let the children decide for themselves what to do and how to do it. If they have their own preferences, let them be.

Compassion -

Let the children spend time as they like and desire. It may be a golden age in their lives. Don't be too strict about all the rules that children have to follow throughout the day.

Have fun -

there are many things that can be put together, e.g. Cooking food, playing video games or playing games that can be played at home. When children are very young, reading aloud to them is a great way to spend time with them.

Social Responsibility -

Introduce children to social responsibility. Explain to them how living at home is good for the health of all the citizens of the country, not just for the family.

We have high expectations of ourselves. Cover yourself up a bit about this. Do not constantly compare yourself or your children with others. No one can be a perfect parent.

Avoid giving the same advice and don't give advice to others that you don't like or don't like to follow. Do what you think is right.

Let the children guide you -

let the children enjoy their way. Ask them what they want to be happy. Ask your children how they feel when you make a decision. Show them that you value their votes. Seeing children happy, happy is the best feeling in the world.

Take care of yourself first -

If you can't take care of yourself, you can't take care of others. This principle is true even now and in the future. See that your feelings, your mind, will always be happy and energetic; So that when the kids need you, you can be there for them. You should set an example for your children by giving them time to avoid being too busy and anxious. Not only do children behave according to what their parents tell them, but they also imitate the way parents behave. Happy healthy parents make children happy and healthy too.

Welcome to the new generation -

Children born after the age of two thousand are now known as 'Generation Z'. This 'Generation Z' should not have such a problem to experience the virtual world sitting at home nowadays. The previous generation used to face such difficulties to some extent. This 'Generation Z' is very different from previous generations. It is more global and diverse. There are many platforms and channels available to stay connected to this 'Generation Z'. Any new generation loves to innovate, however the current new generation is moving towards innovation and its repetition is much faster than before. As technology and its connections change, so do new generations.
