Final Dukes of Dense pics

These two pictures were added at the last minute. The book came about because originally they were going to just superimpose a generic picture of a dictionary over my illustration which I did not like the thought of so I said I would paint them a picture of the dictionary too so it all looked the same. I just did a quick picture of a steam-punk style dictionary but without so much detail. (Steam-punk tends to have lots of metal details/clasps and stuff)

Then there was talk of a logo or a 'mascot' for the series of stories/books under the title Ba'al busters. We argued over which animal to use. He favoured a tiger (been done before) or maybe a bull (too close to the truth). I decided a baby goat wearing a 'tinfoil hat' would be appealing to children and also be a bit more cryptic. I also liked the idea of an amateur banner for the logo too instead of a slick computer graphicked one.
I recently found out that baby goats were used a lot for ritual sacrifices and that has something to do with why we call children 'kids'. Grim.
