I had some time without drawing butterflies, for a long time I have been able to draw and paint many of different colors and shades, they have a magical energy that always ends up attracting me. This time I wanted to explore with the color yellow, which has been calling my attention for some time and I have been able to investigate its various meanings.
Luz e inteligencia están ligados a este color tan brillante y creo que va muy bien con esta pequeña mariposita la cual me recuerda a las que suelen verse cada día en mi patio revoloteando sin parar recolectando el néctar de las flores.
Light and intelligence are linked to this bright color and I think it goes very well with this little butterfly which reminds me of the ones that are usually seen every day in my backyard fluttering around collecting nectar from the flowers.
El color de la mariposa lo logré con dos tonos de color, un poco de naranja y amarillo, además de darle contraste con el negro, lo que le dió más brillo. Los materiales que utilicé fueron lápices de colores y le di intensidad con un marcador amarillo fosforescente y por último un delineador de color negro y blanco.
The color of the butterfly was achieved with two shades of color, a little orange and yellow, in addition to giving it contrast with the black, which gave it more brightness. The materials I used were colored pencils and I gave it intensity with a phosphorescent yellow marker and finally a black and white eyeliner.
