Hello my dear art lovers, I hope you are really cool and welcome to my blog, today I want to introduce you to: (Egleth, A Very Bloody Side); she is a girl who possesses within herself the essence of a bloodthirsty creature that struggles to control her, and from time to time part of that creature becomes present in her body.
Hola mis queridos amantes del arte, espero realmente estén muy cool y sean bienvenidos a mi blog, hoy les quiero presentar a : (Egleth, Un Lado muy Sangriento); ella es una chica la cual posee dentro de si la esencia de una criatura sanguinaria que lucha por controlarla, y de vez en cuando parte de esa criatura se hace presente en su cuerpo.
PROCESS / PROCESO
I wanted to create the primary sketch with a girl with a pretty clean and slightly worried look as if she felt something was wrong inside her, I also made some light folds and lines on the right side of her face where the creature that lives inside her would be appreciated; after finishing and cleaning the sketch I painted Egleth, the skin I made it in a reddish tone to vary it a little. Then I painted a somewhat muddy brown base for what would be the skin of the creature and in the upper part a light brown for the hair which would be very straight and long.
Quise crear el boceto primario con una chica de mirada bastante limpia y ligeramente preocupada como si sintiera algo que algo anda mal dentro de ella, hice también unos ligeros pliegues y líneas en el lado derecho de su rostro donde se apreciaría la criatura que habita dentro de ella; después de terminar y limpiar bien el boceto me dedique a pintar a Egleth, la piel la hice de un tono bastante rojizo para variar un poco. Luego fui pintando una base de marrón algo barroso para lo que seria la piel de la criatura y en la parte alta un castaño claro para el cabello el cual seria muy liso y largo.
I used a very wide color palette to be able to give good detail to the skin and above all to make it look as realistic as possible, I made strokes with the watercolor brush one over the other varying a little the tonalities so that they blend slightly; after that I used a blur brush to blend in a softer and neater way. I repeated several times the process of the volume of the skin until I got something that left me very satisfied, then I went to the painting of the eyes where I used some grays and light colors to achieve volume in the eyeball; then I used a light brown for the left eye and a bright orange for the eye of the creature.
Utilice una paleta de colores muy amplia para poder darle buen detallado a la piel y que sobre todo se viera lo más realista posible, hice trazos con el pincel acuarela uno sobre el otro variando un poco las tonalidades para que se mezclaran ligeramente; después de eso use un pincel de (blur) para mezclar de una forma mas suave y prolija. Repetí varias veces el proceso del volumen de la piel hasta que conseguí algo que me dejo muy satisfecho, después me fui al pintado de los ojos donde emplee unos grises y colores claros para logra volumen en el globo ocular; luego use un marrón claro para el ojo izquierdo y un naranja brillante para el ojo de la criatura.
The next step in the painting process was where I focused on shaping the skin of the creature that lives inside Egleth, for this I first gave a little shape to the skin with the airbrush, then I used a flat brush at low opacity to establish some wrinkles and bumps on the skin; and finally using a square tip brush with a little texture I achieved an appearance of scales on the right side of the character. I painted the claws with a grayish tonality which I worked little by little for better realism and attractiveness, then as an additional touch and to give a better gloomy essence to the character I decided to paint some blood dripping from the claws and reaching the palm of the hand and part of the arm.
El siguiente paso en el proceso de pintado fue en el que me centre en darle forma a la piel de la criatura que habita dentro de Egleth, para esto primero fui dándole un poco de forma a la piel con el aerógrafo, luego use un pincel plano a baja opacidad para establecer un poco de arrugar y protuberancias en la piel; ya por último usando un pincel de punta cuadrada con un poco de textura logre una apariencia de escamas en el lado derecho del personaje. Fui pintando las garras con una tonalidad grisácea la cual fui poco a poco trabajando para mejor realismo y vistosidad, después como toque adicional y para darle mejor esencia tétrica al personaje decidí pintar un poco de sangre escurriendo de las garras y llegando hasta la palma de la mano y parte del brazo.
For the final part I dedicated myself to finish with the hair using the airbrush, the watercolor and a special one with open tips, first I created some relief and I gave shape to the hairstyle as if the hair was slightly gathered back by a braid; then I was blurring and finally what I did was to use the open bristle brush to create the hair strands in a much more realistic and vivid way.
Ya para la parte final me dedique a terminar con el cabello usando el pincele aerógrafo, el acuarela y uno especial de punta abiertas, primero cree cierto relieve y le di forma al peinado como si el cabello estuviera ligeramente recogido hacia atrás por una trenzas; luego fui difuminando y por ultimo lo que hice fue usar el pincel de cerdas abiertas para crear las hebras de cabello de forma mucho más realista y viva.
