Hello my people, welcome once again to my artistic blog, today I want to share with you Princess Laiana, the princess of the poisonous forest, and it is an impetuous and brave girl who is part of a mysterious tribe which cohabits for many decades in this forest full of poisonous snakes; from birth each person is assigned to a particular snake which will accompany her throughout her life, and which will form a bond as if both species were one and the same. This would be the case of the snake (Zephir), the faithful companion of Laiana, and which was born just the same day she was born; so the bond between the two is one of the strongest that exist within the tribe.
This is a character I created a long time ago when I was starting in art and it seemed a good time to give a little more depth to his story, but above all to correct details and improve the drawing with the knowledge and skills I now have; I hope you like it:
Hola mi gente, sean bienvenidos una vez mas a mi blog artístico, hoy les quiero compartir a La Princesa Laiana, la princesa del Bosque venenoso, y se trata de una impetuosa y valiente chica la cual forma parte de una misteriosa tribu la cual cohabita desde hace muchísimas décadas en este bosque repleto de venenosas serpientes; desde su nacimiento cada persona es asignada a una serpiente en particular la cual la acompañara a lo largo de toda su vida, y con las cual se formara un vinculo como sin ambas especies fueran una misma. Este seria el caso de la serpiente (Zephir), la fiel compañera de Laiana, y la cual nacido justamente el mismo día que nacido ella; por lo cual el vínculo entre ambas es uno de los mas fuertes que existen dentro la tribu.
Este es un personaje que cree hace ya mucho tiempo cuando iniciaba en el arte y bueno me pareció buen momento para darle un poco mas de profundidad a su historia, pero sobretodo para corregir detalles y mejorar el dibujo con los conocimientos y habilidades que ahora poseo; espero les guste:

It's something very curious to start with, I took a little time because I wanted to give a very different twist to my original character, so I spent some time trying different poses and making several sketches; until I decided on this one in which you can see Laiana with her head tilted to one side while she listens to the advice of her faithful companion (Zephir). With the line-art finished and there I could focus on looking for colors to paint Laiana, I wanted to take the original colors as a base, but finally I decided to edit the color scheme a little bit and look for darker and stronger tones.
Es algo muy curioso para para comenzar me demoré un poco ya que quería darle un giro bastante diferente al de mi personaje original, por eso estuve un rato probando distintas poses y realizando varios bocetos; hasta que me decidí por este en el cual se aprecia a Laiana con su cabeza inclinada hacia un lado mientras escucha los consejos de su fiel Compañera (Zephir). Con el line-art terminado ya ahí pude centrarme en buscar colores para pintar a Laiana, quise tomar los colores originales como base, pero finalmente me decidí por editar un poco en el esquema de color y buscar tonos un poco más oscuros y fuertes.
With Laiana's skin already well formed and the details of the face and all the visible areas of the skin ready, I just added some glitter to achieve a better realism; from there I went to the section of the eyes for which I decided to use a medium mustard orange and with small brushes I was detailing better the snake eyes. Finished with everything related to Laiana's body the next thing was to paint properly the dress or suit with a little elegant style, having a slight neckline in the form of a line that goes down from the shoulder; here I focused on giving it a lot of glitter to highlight a little.
Con la piel de Laiana ya bien formada y los detalles del rostro y todas las zonas visibles de la piel lista, pues solo me dedique a agregar algunos brillos para lograr un realismo mejor; de ahí pase al apartado de los ojos para el cual me anime a usar un naranja medio mostaza y con pinceles pequeños fui detallando mejor los ojos de serpiente. Finalizado con todo lo referente al cuerpo de Laiana lo siguiente fue ir pintando adecuadamente el vestido o traje con un estilo un poco elegante, al tener un ligero escote en forma de línea que baja desde el hombro; aquí me enfoqué en darle muchos brillos para resaltar un poco.
Finished the dress from there I continued painting the hair, for this I decided to paint with a chocolate brown temptation hehe, I made descending lines from the top and slightly undulating them to create relief; then with a 3-point brush I traced the strands of hair in a similar way to the previous one. After the hair, the only thing left to do was paint (Zephir) Laiana's faithful friend, for this I used many shades of brown mixed and blurred at the same time, then I used some slightly more saturated shades to create the texture of scales in the skin of the snake; Finally, with the help of a couple of layer effects, I finished texturing the skin of (Zephir) and also gave a very cool shine to the eyes and the poisonous tongue.
Finalizado el vestido de ahí continue pintado el cabello, para esto me decidí por pintar con un marrón chocolatoso tentación jeje, fui realizando líneas descendentes desde la parte alta y ondulándolas ligeramente para crear relieve; luego con un pincel de 3 puntas fui trazando los mechones de cabello de una forma similar a la anterior. Luego del pelo lo único que me quedaba por hacer era pintar a (Zephir) la fiel amiga de Laiana, para esto use muchos tonos de marrón mezclados y difuminados a la vez, luego use algunos tonos un poco mas saturados para crear la textura de escamas en la piel de la serpiente; finalmente con ayuda de par de efectos de capa termine de texturizar la piel de (Zephir) y también le di un brillo muy cool a los ojos de y la venenosa lengua.
Lastly, I decided to create a background covered to the brim with leaves from trees and large bushes to simulate the (Poisonous Forest), a quite adequate setting since it perfectly simulates the natural environment where a snake would move.
Ya por último me decidí por crear un fondo cubierto hasta el tope de hojas de árboles y grandes arbustos para simular el (Bosque Venenoso), un escenario bastante adecuado pues simula a la perfección el entorno natural por donde se desplazaría una serpiente.
