Hello everyone!
These past few weeks, I have been reminiscing about the things that I used to love doing. I was busy at school before, but I was able to spend some quality time with myself. At the moment, my schedule is still hectic. There is nothing new about that, but I couldn't find enough time.
With that, I was scrolling through my Google Photos backup to reminisce the past. When boredom strikes, right? As I was scrolling, I reached the years where I was into drawing. That was when I still had enough time to draw a lot, like every weekend to destress from all the studying. Whenever I'm bored, I draw. When tired, I just grab my pencil, pen, and sketchbook.
Also, I am an anime addict, and for that reason, all of my drawings are anime. Coloring is not my thing. I used to join an art contest during grade school and high school, and I was just lucky enough to make the colors pleasing to their eyes. But in reality, it's not my cup of tea, and I'm struggling to blend and have a decent output.
The best part of these drawing sessions before was my grandmother wouldn't allow me to wash the dishes. Isn't it amazing? Hahaha
Kidding aside, I'm starting to draw and practice painting again. I'm still stuck in my apartment because the class is still online, and I work from home. It is better to be back on track rather than keep on mumbling I used to do this and that or daydreaming about going to the beach and eating in an eat-all-you-can restaurant.
As I was scrolling, I decided to share with you guys some of the anime drawings of the teenager Caryl. So here we go!
Mavis Vermillion Watching these drawing of mine, it makes me smile and remembers how determined I was to become a better each day. Time is not my enemy. It's just me and my alibi. Maybe I should stop that and start doing it!
This is all applicable in every aspect of our life. If it is important to you, you will surely make time for it. I'm lecturing myself. Hah!
