Bush Under the Clouds | A Digital Drawing Project

Hello everyone. This is my first post on Blurt. I was on the other platform and did not take the time to come and see what this new venture was about. I love working with digital art programs online. You can create awesome digital drawings from just simple brushstrokes.

This week I decided to combine two different digital programs. My intention was to create a drawing that reflected marine animals on a migration path back to sea.

I started with one of my favorite drawing programs, Nvidia Gaugan AI Drawing program.

The software generates photorealistic imagery from basic brush strokes. The program takes your basic drawing strokes and apply them to a blank canvas. You can then add various elements, i.e. buildings, grounds, landscape, and plants with the tools provided.

I wanted to include in this drawing a dark and foreboding sky. This will seem as though the sky is casting a shadow on the surface of the water. Then I added several medium-sized rocks on the coastline. For the middle of the scene, I added a low wall of rocks as though the large bush was actual planted there. A sort of garden.

The brushstrokes for the drawing looked nice. If you're familiar with the program, you can see the outline of the various features.

This is the resulting image from my Nvidia Gaugan project: The image produced from those brushstrokes look truly natural. I love the natural look of the shoreline with rocks and trees lining the cove.

Once you've finished your brush strokes, you can then download the image.
