Good morning everyone,
I bring to you my recent art piece which is a drawing of a Tortoise. Ive never drawn one before so it became my choice of art.
As I was growing up, I heard lot of late night stories about how clever a Tortoise is. This made me grow up with the knowledge that they are the most intelligent animal ever.
Also I've heard series of tales of about how he broke his back shell which make it rough till today. All those stories always ended up with it having a smooth back but becomes mischievous and greedy that he falls eventually breaking his smooth back. And it was the ants that were kind enough to put the back together but they were never smooth again.
I belived those stories when I was small but when I grew up I realized they weren't true. But I'm grateful for those stories. They are always interesting to hear and it really kept my company then.
For the drawing, I used white primary pencil on black background drawing on Autodesk Sketchbook. Also I got my reference photo here .
