Hello everyone,
I bring to you my recent drawing which I titled "Blue-eyed Black Beauty". Its a drawing of an African girl with one eye blue and the second black. She's also have a broad lovely smile on her face.
Sometimes ago in one of the villages in my place, a lady with blue eyes was brought to the limelight with her daughters having blue eyes too. They were thought to not be ordinary people and even her husband left her. This was because naturally we Africans have brown eyes so when they saw her eyes it looked absurd to them. Fortunately when she was discovered her life story change for the better. When I saw this girls photo, all I saw was beauty and I tried to capture the blue eye with blue instead of my regular white.
I drew on Autodesk Sketchbook using primary white and blue pencil on black background. Also I got my reference photo here .
