I have a whole list of several creatures that I would like to do in the future, but the one that inspired me the most was the story of Arachne, the best weaver who challenged the skill of Athena (the goddess of wisdom, war and crafts)

Tengo un listado entero de varias criaturas que me gustaría hacer en un futuro, pero el que ms me inspiro fue la historia de Aracne, la mejor tejedora que desafío la habilidad de Atena (la diosa de la sabiduría, guerra y las artesanías)

Arachne was known, in the Greek mythology, as a weaver with a lot of skills. After challenging Athena to a duel she was cursed and became a spider. There are a lot of versions of why she got involved into this curious destiny, though many consider it the creation of the spiders.

Arachne era conocido, en la mitología griega, como una tejedora con muchas habilidades. Después de desafiar a Atenea a un duelo, fue maldecida y convertida en una araña. Hay muchas versiones de por qué se involucró en este curioso destino, aunque muchos lo consideran la creación de las arañas.

Process/Proceso:

Like every work I seek to do, I wanted to keep an interesting composition and idea: I wanted to make her as a character to be careful with, and with this idea the composition started with a lower view towards Arachne. I have to admit that the background changed from a cave to a forest, but still my main idea was kept: the spectator to be trapped in her web.

Como cada trabajo que busco hacer, queria mantener una composicion e idea interesante: Quería hacerlo como un personaje a tener cuidado, y con esta idea la composición comenzó con una vista inferior hacia Aracne. He de admitir que el fondo cambio de idea desde una cueva a un bosque, pero aun así se mantenía mi interés porque el espectador quedara atrapado en su telaraña.
