One of my life goals is to build my own lakeside house that will serve as my resting place whenever I feel stressed about city life. I imagined being in a secluded location that couldn’t be easily accessible. A location far from development and so the house should be self-sustaining and could process its own required utilities. At this point, I’m still far from that goal but I could use my spare time in visualizing my concept.
Normally at the beginning of my visualization process, I would start with the design of the house. However, I figured that this time I will start with the environment that I have in mind. It will be the basepoint of my designing process. I would like to draw my inspiration from the natural elements surrounding the house.
For my initial scheme, I came up with the below:
It’s a serene setting that’s surrounded by deciduous vegetation. In this scene, I’ve used Birch tree 3d assets since I wanted to render a scene to depict the autumn season later on in the process. I think it will have a good photographic effect.
In the next few days, I will start working on the details of the environment which will include landscape elements like rocks and a few more vegetation. Subsequently, I would include architectural details which will include a jetty, deck, pavilions, and lighting fixtures surrounding the house.
