This was the 1st image I created for the purpose of selling my art. I opened an account on redbubble and uploaded it. I then apply it to every one of their products. Then I finally hit the submit button, and a screen popped up saying this account has been suspended. I was confused. I tried to contact them more than once, but no one ever got back to me. The account is still suspended.
I decided to try society6 after that, and been using it even since, but this platform has its own problems. The search engine is crap, most thumbnails of products don’t load when browsing the site. Their app is crap. I have over 500 pictures uploaded, so moving to a new site will be a total pain.
I want to make absolutely sure that a new platform will work for me before I do that. I would like to build up my brand so that I can have my own site, and a print on demand service that doesn’t take 90% of what something sell for. I started to wonder if this is a business that can be started with no seed money to invest in it. Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest.
