Another new comunity has seen the light on HIVE, and what a good one is this!
'The HIVE pet community'
One to share the love from your animal with. Can't think of a better concept than this one! Meet my pet:
This is Sem the dog who was looking for a new home and found it at my place. Yes the dog is big, yes he pulls stuff and you have to walk him, but it is the most sweet dog there is. How he was unwanted in his old house, and it is almost hard to understand why.
The dog is awesome trained and he only needs a walk and some love here and there. I don't know what went wrong in his old house, but I expect something with responsibilities, but hey...who am I am to judge, I am just happy this rascal is with us now here.
Attitude here right? Well the dog is a crossbreed of a Bernese mountaindog and an Appenzeller mountaindog. Which means that in character he is soft towards humans, but also a guard dog. Appelzeller sennens were used back in the days to herd the sheep on the Swiss mountains, and to guard the farms.
Well, the guarding I can confirm. This dog is like my shadow and the mailman is getting used to being barked at for a good one. And this is a deep bark. One that can be scary. I don't mind a good bark here and there, that keeps people safe right?
So our friends at the 'Hive Pets Community' have a contest going on as well. If you are a good photoshopper or so, they are giving away cool prizes for the ones who are making a good banner and a good logo for their comunity. Check it out in this post about it if you are interested on winning something.
I will stay out of this and just leave some more doggo pics for you guys.
I have a thing for bigger dogs, because I find that they are good to handle inside the house and often have a sweet character. Up until I had buddy Sem I wasn't really aware of the character of the Swiss mountain dogs. There are four kinds of them going from large to small. The Great Swiss, the Bernese mountaindog, the Appenzeller mountaindog and the Entlebucher mountaindog.
All totally different in character but the bigger ones are really family dogs. And sleepy heads. Which I can confirm from the observation here, damn that animal can sleep!
Well some doggo spam from my side to add into this community, I am happy there are here and will continue to post from here!
We have a Blurt pet Community too. #blurtimals
ohhhhh yes!!! awesome and will drop by there as well
love your pooch man
