Two Figures in The Forest

Sound of birds all around, shaking trees, noisy monkies dancing around the trees. "Oh what have I done to myself," "how do I find my way back"? "If I knew I would have listened and obeyed," she told herself. "Who will help me, who will rescue me, will i stay here till dawn?". It all happened during the summer break, when she lost her way in a thick forest.

Nneka got lost in the thick forest when she followed her two friends Ada and Akunna to fetch firewood in the forest. They were all together fetching firewoods in bundles, untill they entered a particular forest full of fresh firewoods that would make good fire and as they were fetching, Akunna heard a strange voice, it sounds like the voice of bush Spirits, Ada confirmed the voice and likewise Nneka, immediately they all ran out in different directions, everyone had to find their way home, at this point it is either you escape or you die in the forest.

Ada and Akunna escaped and finally got home to tell the villagers that Nneka was gone, that she has been carried away by bush Spirits. On the other hand, Nneka had disobeyed her mother who told her not to go for firewood hunting that evening, because she had the feeling that something bad was going to happen to her daughter. Nneka now in the bush, all hope lost, "how will I survive here?" It was already getting late, yet no one to rescue her, she cried and cried her eyes out. Every where is already covered with darkness, great fear fill her heart, and she kept on crying.

As she laid her head down to sleep, she saw two figures approaching her "oh they are coming, i am finished, Lord accept my spirit" she said to herself. But fortunately for her, those two figures were her saviour.
